SIKIAA!!!! DJ Cartoon started Djing 8 years ago, but his love for music could be seen by the time he was 12 years old. He remembers his first equipment as two tape decks and a old mixer he got from a friend and within weeks of self training became the neighborhood house party DJ. His quest to be a seasoned DJ was only bogged by the lack of equipment. However, through a link of friends he was introduced to a mobile DJ owner and from there on things started picking up. He clearly remembers his first turntable feel just like it was yesterday and marveled at himself being on the opposite side of the turntables, many Djs knowing what to play to keep the crowd on their feet, transitions to getting to know what a hit is which gradually made Cartoon start producing "Isikie Beats". He set up his own production company, Ritungu Inc,Friends Entertainment and Digital Media Creation four years ago and hasn't looked back since. In less than 3 years Cartoon has emerged from a DJ into one of the most versatile producers in the game."I see a lot of people making a big deal out of what producer uses what. What matters is the end result. If the beats is banging, it doesn't matter what equipment was used". You might have recorded you're vocals in the bathroom, but if it's a hit and the quality compares to everybody else, why knock the recording.His ability to produce gospel music and work with artists from all over the world of music makes Cartoon versatile in producing for some of the hottest up and coming acts who seek out his talent.
